Our Services

Studio VAE is a San Francisco residential interior design studio working on whole-home renovations, new construction, and furnishings projects across the Bay Area. Most of our work is full-service design, taken from first concept to finished, furnished rooms.

Full-Service Interior Design⁠—Renovations, new construction and furnishings, concept through installation

We guide your renovation, new construction or furnishings project from the first conversation to the final installation. Veronica or Aggie leads your project personally, in step with your architect, contractor and build team.

How it works

A six-phase interior design process: the concept and floor plans, every finish, fixture and furnishing, construction drawings and specifications, regular site visits during construction, then procurement and installation.

Best for

Whole-home renovations and new construction, and smaller scopes such as a kitchen and bath, a primary suite or a full floor, renovated, furnished or both.

Investment

Design fee based on project scope. Whole-home renovations in the Bay Area typically start around $1,000,000 in construction, with furnishings budgeted separately.

When a home doesn’t need full service

Design Day⁠—Interior decorating for up to three rooms, yours to order and install

Collaborate in-home with a principal interior designer and receive a furniture layout and a list of every piece to order.

Best for

Rooms that feel almost there but aren’t quite landing, a furnishings budget spent in phases, or clients who’d rather do the ordering themselves.

Investment

Flat design fee, for projects with a furnishings investment starting at $50,000. Inquire about Design Day.

Design Day

Interior Design Consulting⁠—Virtual interior design consultations for the decisions in front of you

Real-time guidance from a principal interior designer for clients steering their own project.

Best for

Homeowners working with a contractor or doing the work themselves, mid-project pivots, a house you’re thinking of buying, or a single room you want a designer’s guidance on.

Investment
