Studio VAE is a San Francisco residential interior design firm led by principal designers Veronica Jurist and Aggie Revane, guiding whole-home renovations, new construction and furnishings projects across the Bay Area. We design each home as a whole, so every room connects naturally to the next. Our interiors are warm and made to last: oak and other natural woods, handmade tile and custom millwork, all planned around your daily life.
Every project involves hundreds of decisions. Our six-phase interior design process brings clarity and order to every stage. We prepare the construction drawings, order your furnishings and work alongside your contractor and the rest of your project team, so your role is making informed decisions, not managing the project.
We founded Studio VAE in 2021 on a simple premise: clients should feel heard at every step. We bring the design expertise and will always offer clear recommendations on what we’d choose and why, but your home is ultimately yours to live in. We guide you thoughtfully without ever imposing a style that isn’t authentic to you.

Meet Your Interior Designers
Veronica Jurist, Principal Designer & Co-Owner
Veronica holds a BFA in Interior Architecture & Design from the Academy of Art University and was shaped by her career at luxury interior design firms in San Francisco. She brings two decades of experience to high-end residential interior design and renovation projects, guiding them from concept to completion.
Equal parts technical and creative, Veronica is as comfortable preparing construction drawings and coordinating with structural engineers as she is designing with textiles, wallcoverings and furnishings. She creates spaces that forge deeper, more meaningful connections with the people who live in them, drawing from her own life experiences to help clients feel seen, supported, and truly at home. Clients describe her as patient and precise, taking the time to learn how they live and leaving no detail overlooked.
Outside the studio, she travels through Asia and Europe and explores the Pacific Northwest with her husband and their adventure-loving pup, Loki.
Aggie Revane, Principal Designer & Co-Owner
Aggie is an NCIDQ-certified interior designer with a Bachelor of Architecture from California College of the Arts and years of experience at San Francisco interior design firms. Her architectural training lets her see beyond surface finishes, understanding how space planning, structure and materials work together across residential, hospitality and workplace projects.
A Northern California native and daughter of a general contractor, Aggie grew up immersed in the world of construction and interior design. This background, combined with her architectural education, means she considers how each space relates to the home as a whole. Clients appreciate her balance of aesthetic vision and technical precision, and the homes that come of it: as functional as they are beautiful.
When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find her cheering for Bay Area sports teams, relaxing with her cat, Chula, or traveling the world observing how different cultures shape their spaces.

by Design
We take on a limited number of projects, so your home has a principal’s attention from kickoff to installation day. Veronica or Aggie leads your project, and on some we work together. Your floor plans, material palettes and furniture layouts are designed by a principal interior designer, start to finish.
Floor Plan and Furnishings, Designed Together
We lay out the furniture while we design the floor plan, custom cabinetry and lighting, so every room is planned around how you’ll use it. The sofa is sized to the room and the lights land where you need them.
Drawings Your Contractor Builds From
We prepare the construction drawings for your home, from elevations to lighting, electrical and finish plans, then support your contractor through construction with regular site visits. One client called our drawings “impressively detailed and precise — invaluable for working with contractors and the building department.”
