Embarking on a Creative Journey: Our Origin Story

When social distancing was a thing, we found a deeper connection with each other even though we couldn’t be together in person. The decision to start our business unfolded with a natural, almost serendipitous, ease. The convergence of our careers led us to one another, and it was a moment to do something for ourselves. 

Starting Studio VAE was a way to create our own framework. We recognized inefficiencies and saw the potential of leveraging technology to enhance how we design and manage projects. We continue to have fun pivoting as we experiment with different processes that work and scrap the ones that don’t.

Of course, we couldn’t do this without the continued support of our friends, family, and fur babies. They provide a loving and solid foundation for us to take this chance together; we are forever grateful for that.

We share a passion for design and found creative harmony in our different strengths and perspectives. Each project becomes a unique chapter in our design journey, illustrating how individuality combines to create a beautiful narrative.
